	Recommended Testing Times
	The Best Days to Test Are: During the middle two weeks of the month Mondays Avoid the last week and the last test day of the month The Best Times to Test Are: Afternoons Mid-morning

	Required Documents
	Bring your vehicle A legible Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) must be on the vehicle.

	Test Tips
	Bring your vehicle to normal operating temperature. A 15 mile drive on the freeway is best. Don't wait in a long line. This may also result in your vehicle failing the test unnecessarily. Lines tend to be shorter in the middle of the month. Once in line, turn off all accessories (air conditioner, lights, wipers, heater, radio, etc.). While in line, DO NOT SHUT OFF YOUR ENGINE. This helps to keep the engine at normal operating temperature. Your vehicle must have a gas cap to take the emission test. If you have a locking gas cap(s), please make sure you bring your key(s). Do NOT Bring Your Pets.

	Payment Policies
	Accepted payments for test fees Payment for test fees may be made using cash, credit/debit cards or check. Credit and debit cards will be accepted upon authorization by the card provider. Cash - US currency only. No bills over $50.00 will be accepted. Credit/Debit -Visa, Mastercard, Discover credit and debit cards. ATM cards (cards that may only be processed with the use of a PIN/code) are not accepted. Local Check - Payable to Applus. Drafted on a local bank. Name must be printed on the check. Photo ID required that matches the name and signature on the check Test Fees: Initial test cost: $15.00 First retest: $0.00 (Free)
