Attach The Connector

The next step is to remove the transponder from the holder in the Kiosk.
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
It is extremely important that you turn off your vehicle's engine before attaching
(or detaching) the transponder to the DLC in order to prevent
damage to the vehicle's computer.
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
There will be a safety screen showing a countdown to the door opening.
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
Once open, pull gently on the transponder until it dislodges from its holder.
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
Then attach it to the vehicle's Data Link Connector(DLC) in the vehicle.
If you do not know where to locate the DLC, press the "Help
me locate my DLC" button and a screen
will come up with a picture showing where the DLC is located. If there
is no "Help" button showing, press the "Notify Attendant" for assistance in finding
the DLC. |
